Description: A call was received via pagers to support Sale Fire Brigade at an incident of 131 Raymond Street Sale. The St Columbus Kindergarten was billowing with smoke from its roof when Maffra Appliances arrived. 5 Maffra members wore Breathing Apparatus Sets to help contain and Extinguish the fire inside the Kindergarten and the adjoining roof. The fire damaged a large part of the roof but the building remained structurally sound. 90% of the teaching resources and equipment is said to have been saved. Crews that attended the fire are to be thanked enormously.
